The York Paper Company specialises in the production of high quality Flexographic reel to reel packaging. We are one of New Zealand's foremost printers and converters, and produce a large range of Paper and Polythene bags, Everyday and Christmas gift wrap products, and many forms of contract surface, reel to reel printing. It is our policy to conduct our business in a manner that protects the safety and health of our employees, customers, contractors and public while minimising the effect on the environment and its precious wildlife. Since 2005 we have achieved the Enviro-Mark®NZ Gold Standard for our commitment to the environmental policy.

Our commitment is to:
• Minimise consumption of resources and prevent waste and pollution of land, sea and air.
• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
• Involve and work closely with employees, unions, clients, suppliers and other interested parties to improve their awareness and support our Environmental Policy.
• Strive to continually improve our environmental performance by establishing objectives and targets, carrying out regular audits and acting on complaints and incidents.
• Make our Environmental Policy publicly available on our York Paper Company website.

This policy covers all activities undertaken on our Auckland manufacturing site.

NB: The latest Enviro-Mark®NZ Audit was successfully completed on site in August 2011.
